Your project. Your solar advantage.

See your solar potential.
Plan with confidence.

Explore location-based solar resources and estimate photovoltaic energy yield with Sunpal Solar modules.

Search for your site or click anywhere on the map.

Search uses OpenStreetMap geocoding. Common city searches also work from the built-in city list.

Tip: Simply enter your address/city above or click anywhere on the map — Latitude, Longitude, and your solar yield estimate will switch and calculate automatically. No manual coordinate input is required!

For a utility-scale comparison with Global Solar Atlas, match its PV system type as well as its panel tilt.

Leave blank for the system default. To compare with Global Solar Atlas, enter its displayed panel tilt (for example, 38°).

Preset profiles are calculated offline. Custom coordinates query NASA POWER; a local solar-geometry estimate is used if unavailable.

GSA reference profiles are available only for the five exact preset coordinates and their three cached baseline systems. Other locations use NASA POWER 2001–2025 climate normals and a simplified isotropic-sky transposition; their modelled optimum tilt and GTI are estimates, not Global Solar Atlas values. GHI/DNI can differ between datasets at the same coordinates. For a like-for-like PVOUT comparison, use the same source plus identical system type, capacity, azimuth, tilt, module and loss assumptions; tilt alone cannot reconcile different irradiance datasets. Custom climate data require internet access; the latitude-only fallback is low confidence. Array footprint is a rough GCR-based planning allowance, not a site layout; confirm module dimensions and Sunpal datasheets before commercial use.
